We start the mission by going to get the book.

We open the chest, get the book, click and then go to the Old Pirate.

== Inside Chamber ==

This part of the quest involves lighting all the lamps on the road green. We'll do this by killing Undead Pirates under the lamp and using their bodies as lamps. Note that the lamp must be extinguished for this to work; we can't use the body on the one that's burning red.

A piece of paper appears on the altar, indicating how many dice are missing from a given altar. In this case, each altar has too few dice. There's no recipe for how to arrange this, as the number of dice varies with each restart. So, any tips? I'll use an example:

I place 10 bones on each altar, and the message tells us there are too many on the left and middle, and too few on the right. I place 5 bones on the left and middle, and 20 on the right. The message tells us there are enough bones on the left, too many on the middle, and too many on the right. Since we know the left one is good, we write it down as 5. Then we place 1 on the left, because we already know how many there will be, 7 on the middle, and 17 on the right. We got the middle one right again, and there are too few on the right. So we have 5 on the left, 7 in the middle, and we don't know yet on the right. So we place 1 on the left, 1 in the middle, and 18 on the right. We get the number right, so all that's left is to arrange it: 5 - 7 - 18. The gate opens, and we can move on.
