Rage system
Dragon Ball World has a custom rage and stance system to ensure playing as a Ki, Fighter and Tank has its own unique attributes, as well as allowing further adaptation for Team hunting.
Attack Stances
There are 3 Attack stances which you can freely change at all times in game using the Combat Controls Window.
The stances alter the amount of damage you output as well as the amount of damage you will take.

Aggressive Stance: (Recommended use for DPS while someone else is tanking)
- 110% damage dealt
- 130% damage taken
Balanced Stance: (Recommended to use most frequently when playing alone)
- 100% damage dealt
- 100% damage taken
Defensive Stance: (Recommended to use while tanking a lot of monsters)
- 65% damage dealt
- 85% damage taken
Rage and Critical System
Attacks dealt by Glovers and Swords are able to critically strike to deal bonus damage.
Attacks from balls or any techniques cannot critically strike unless they have a special ability.
Base Critical Damage is 110% (This can be further increased using Gems and Special Techniques)
Rage is Built up during combat depending on damage dealt and received and provides bonuses based on the class category. (Limited to 100 Rage)
All Races in Dragon Ball World are separated into their respective categories with bonuses below:
Tanks
- Tanks receive 5% Permanent Critical Chance.
- Tanks receive from 1-20% Tenacity (Scaling from 1-100 Rage)
